Actualidad de Baza

En el pleno ordinario correspondiente al mes de mayo en el Ayuntamiento de Baza aprobó por unanimidad denominar un vial del Plan Parcial U5 con le nombre de Antonio Domínguez Carreño, Arquitecto Municipal fallecido recientemente. Tal decisión aparecía en una moción conjunta presentada al pleno y firmada por la Junta de Portavoces, la Junta de Personal y el Comité de Empresa del Ayuntamiento de Baza.

Y que recogía la solicitud de nombrar así una calle en reconocimiento a la labor realizada por el Arquitecto Municipal durante los treinta últimos años, destinados al diseño y la proyección urbanística de nuestra ciudad, así como su actitud y entrega ejemplar en cuanto al cumplimiento de sus obligaciones municipales".

Así se acordó que la Calle Hermanos Álvarez, ubicada junto al Parque de "Los Prados" y confluente con la Avda. José Salinas, pase a denominarse "Arquitecto Antonio Domínguez". "Una calle que empieza en un plaza, Carlos Cano, un músico, y que acaba en Avda. José Salinas, otro músico, entre ellos un creador y diseñador de está ciudad, Antonio Domínguez".

Las dos calles se encuentran donde simbólicamente se unen dos amigos, Antonio y Pepe, Pepe y Antonio, era lo menos que podíamos hacer", finaliza la moción.
